Short Description

​

“Just Waste” is an installation consisting of 6 mirrors covered with dust collected during the ongoing renovation of Casa Lucrezia (the site that hosted the exhibition). The artwork aims to reconcile dust, composed of fragments of paint and plaster removed from walls, with the space it once belonged to. Through reflections in the mirrors, new relations are established between the architectures of the house and the dust that is virtually re-positioned on those walls from where it has been removed. The installation is spread around the building, engaging the viewer to move around in order to synchronize space and body in the exact position where dust and reflected architectures merge into unified images.
